Connection Issues
My phone can't find my computer. What should I do?
- Ensure both devices are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network.
- Check your computer's firewall settings. You may need to allow Mobmote through the firewall.
- Make sure the Mobmote Desktop Server is running.
Does Mobmote work over the internet?
No, Mobmote operates only over your local network (LAN) for maximum speed and security. Your data never leaves your home network.

Is there an iOS version?
An iOS version is currently in development and will be available on the App Store soon.
Does it support macOS or Linux?
Support for macOS and Linux is planned for future updates. Currently, the server application is Windows-only.
Why can't I control some apps (like Task Manager) with the Microsoft Store version?
The Microsoft Store version runs restricted by default. To control elevated applications (like Task Manager or installers), you need to use the GitHub version of the Desktop Server. Once installed, open the Mobmote Desktop Settings and enable the 'Run as Administrator' option.
